Intro to Visceral Mobilization (for Current & Future PTs/OTs) - March 1st, 2025
Join us at Awake Pelvic Health & Wellness for our Introduction to Visceral Mobilization workshop, designed specifically for practicing and student physical therapists and occupational therapists. This workshop provides foundational knowledge in visceral mobilization techniques, focusing on how gentle hands-on methods can improve mobility, enhance organ function, and alleviate chronic pain.
Participants will gain an understanding of how visceral mobilization integrates into a holistic approach to health, empowering them to better support clients with complex musculoskeletal or visceral concerns. The focus will be on visceral mobilization for:
Bowel health (constipation, SIBO, and general motility)
Bladder health (scar tissue, urinary urgency/frequency, and general motility)
Pelvic pain conditions
Abdominal scars
We include both didactic and hands-on labs to put our visceral skills into action
