WHO WE ARE
Awake Pelvic Health & Wellness is a specialty Pelvic Physical Therapy practice helping individuals overcome pelvic floor dysfunction. Our amazing team is located in Woodbury but we serve the Greater Twin Cities and all of Minnesota.
Our Philosophy: We believe in an active, hands-on, “whole-body” approach to treatment. Grounded in holistic and evidence-informed practice, we’re passionate about providing positive, life-changing experiences for each unique individual.
Is Pelvic PT right for me? Simply put, if you experience pain in your pelvis or abdomen, constipation, leaking, sexual difficulties, are pregnant/postpartum, or have any bowel/bladder problems – we can help!
What to Expect
Clinic Atmosphere
Our patients are welcomed by a friendly staff member and offered water and snacks before their appointment. Treatment sessions are in private, quiet, and calming treatment rooms that includes a warmed table. We have a private gym, with weight and Pilates equipment.
Whole Person Approach
We use a holistic, whole-body approach to treatment which includes a head-to-toe assessment. This allows us to discover the root cause of symptoms. Many pelvic floor issues arise outside of the pelvis, therefore we always look at nutrition, nervous system, sleep hygiene, and movement patterns to truly get the whole picture.
More than Kegels
Our patients will have an hour of one-on-one time with their doctorate-level providers that will not include biofeedback or simply a list of exercises. We believe in catering your care to your specific needs and lifestyle. Each visit will follow an individualized action plan focused on meeting your goals.
Treatment that Fits Your Lifestyle
We offer on-time and family-friendly appointments (in-person or virtual) including early morning, evenings, and Saturdays. You are welcome to bring your kiddos to visits! Our treatment rooms are spacious enough to bring family members, spouses, or friends.
